Teaching and supervising
The Chair of Pathophysiology is focused on the research-based teaching of the basis of disease at all levels of medical education. The aim of the course is to provide the students with basic knowledge of pathophysiology, an understanding of the etiology and pathogenesis of diseases and how this knowledge can be used for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Supervision of student research. Annual National Student Research Competition is a positive output of experimental work of the students obtained under supervision in the labs.
Our competence and success.
• Three Award Winners at bachelor level (Mart Roosimaa, Marian Tarrend, Märt Rahu) supervised by Lumme Kadaja, phD.
• Two award winners at master's level (Mart Roosimaa ja Marian Tarrend) supervised by Lumme Kadaja, phD
• Also, numerous Bachelor, master and doctoral theses have been supervised and defended.
